Scobalit® has been making glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) panels since 1950. Today under the leadership of Richard Steger our team remains an innovative force.
In our 3000 m2 production plant in Winterthur, Switzerland we manufacture building elements that set new accents. We are one of the five largest buyers of raw polyester resins in Switzerland, and we produce 100,000 m2 of GRP products each year. During recent decades we have developed many high-quality products, some of which were documented in 1999 in the highly acclaimed "Eyecatcher" exhibit at the Swissbau construction trade fair.
Today Scobalit AG boasts hundreds of outstanding reference projects in Europe – buildings, technical constructions, as well as the further developing scobamat® ground reinforcement mat.
Various Swiss and European testing institutes have certified the high quality of Scobalit® products.
